Authentic Tanzania
June 2025
Join me in June 2025 on an extraordinary journey through some of the most iconic and diverse wildlife destinations in East Africa. This safari to Tanzania’s Northern Circuit has a carefully crafted itinerary that includes several renowned national parks and conservation areas, each offering unique experiences and breathtaking landscapes.
One unusual aspect to this safari that I’m thrilled to offer: the single supplement is only $995 for the first three singles who sign up. If you want to go on safari without sharing a room, this is a great deal!
Our adventure begins with one night in Arusha where we can recharge after our international flights. From there, we’ll embark on a thrilling exploration of the parks. All of the camps I’ve chosen are small and intimate. They have large tents with hot showers, private bathrooms, and great food.
We’ll start with two nights at the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has been called Africa’s Garden of Eden. It’s the world’s largest caldera and it’s teeming with wildlife. Our camp is set in an ancient acacia forest with prime position for early morning access.
Next we will head to our deluxe camp in central Serengeti for four nights and spend the days exploring the Seronera Valley and its surrounds while enjoying amazing views of the Serengeti plains. This is prime leopard country and with luck we’ll see the beginning of the migration herds heading north.
Our last camp is in the northern Serengeti and we’ll spend three nights there. The landscape has beautiful rolling hills dotted with granite kopjes and acacia trees. We’ll spend our game-drives scouting there and along the Mara River where we may see a migrating herd of wildebeest risking a river crossing to get to fresh grass on the other side.
